This 3-part ONLINE course will provide instruction in the principles and practice of interpreting the Bible with emphasis on the importance and challenges of Bible interpretation.

It explores the reasons why there are different interpretations, considers the inspiration and inerrancy of Scriptures as foundational truth and defines key terms --- all in a practical, down-to-earth way.

The goal is for the participants to be equipped and empowered in sharing and training the Word of God accurately and adequately.

About the Speaker

Dr. Roy Verzosa travels the world with his Apollos Ministry. This ministry got started as a Doctor of Ministry project of Rev. Roy Verzosa. After completing his doctoral studies, requests were made for him to hold preaching seminars using the curriculum and manual he produced. This ministry aims to help pastors and lay leaders approach the Word of God inductively, study it exegetically, explain it expositionally, and apply it relevantly.

 

In 1996, he finished his Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies

In 1999, he pursued the Doctor of Ministry program of the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (North Carolina, USA).

He completed his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching, February 2002.

Dr. Roy resides with his wife and 2 young adult children in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
