Hebrews 4:12 reminds us about the importance and power of the Word of God. The power to discern right from wrong, spiritual from non spiritual/canal, and to bring about change, and transformation in the heart and life of an individual.

Hebrew 4:15 - there is great comfort knowing that the God that we serve, the One we pursue in the person of Jesus is a personal, relational, and graceful God. He’s not distant or disconnected, but rather deeply involved in our lives because He came to meet us where we were at.

Hebrews 4 reminds us of the importance of rest. A rest of inner peace, reconciliation with God and salvation through faith. It is assurance that we can find relief from the burdens of life when we trust in God.

Hebrew 4:12 - Scripture can shine light on and expose the things in ourselves we have buried or aren’t even aware of. It’s easy to underestimate its power to bring life, to heal and to bring freedom.

There is a connection between rest and praise. The rest that God is calling us into isn’t physical as much as it has to do with our identity in Him. We rest, pray, and praise because of Who we belong to.

v. 13 - the reminder that you can't hide from God is important. sometimes, we pretend to be okay and hide behind a fake persona to keep our reputation. But God sees it, and loves us regardless. We are meant to stay accountable to Him, and ourselves, by addressing and talking about what we're going through.

Heb 4:13. A great reminder that every thought and action that I “hide” from some people is still seen by God. And God is really the only one to whom I am accountable. It’s not a matter of feeling shame or guilt, but a reminder that all of who I am is seen
