For some people, it's too hard to picture that a debt paid is paid. We convince ourselves that we build up new debt every day. You need to remember that when Christ died, He died before you sinned, He died for your sin, He died knowing that you would be born into sin and would sin. He didn't die to absolve a certain number of choices that you've made and then when you make more choices then you have to carry that again He died for your sin nature. It's gone. It's forgiven. It's remembered no more. The symbol that we're using today is the shredder. We shredded a debt that we incurred. It is paid and we function today as a church family, not worrying if the bank is going to call up and say ‘You owe a little bit more I know you paid it, but you owe a little bit more because we don't like the way you've been operating.’ We go, forget you bank like you don't get to speak into our lives that way. Why do we allow the enemy to speak into our lives that way? Why do we allow the enemy to go, I know that your sin debt was paid, but I'm noticed a few things in your life, and you need to feel guilty about that.
CHRIST DIED BEFORE YOU SINNED, FOR YOUR SIN, KNOWING YOU WOULD BE BORN INTO SIN
