IS IT IMPORTANT TO READ THE BIBLE?

Jesus said that you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. This is a loaded statement. It's got multiple implications. It means that Jesus is the truth. And to know him means we're set free. But to know Him and love him means to know and love what he knows and loves. And there's no other way to comprehend all of this than to know and to understand the Bible. It's truly shocking to me how many self confessing Christians seldomly read their Bible, Do a quick self-evaluation. Do you spend more time listening and participating in worship or reading the Bible? So which one has greater value? Do you know more movie quotes by hear than Scripture Verses? Are your social media apps you use more than your Bible app? This is not about shaming. This is about taking a good look at ourselves and say, If I love God, do I really know him? His word, what he loves? And if not, no better time to start than right now. Shut me off, open your Bible.
