Figurative And Sometimes Literally, We've Married Into Our Culture

We say that if we love someone, that means we will respect everything about them and we won't offend them ever with anything that we say because we shouldn't judge people that way. Show me that in the word of the Lord. I see in Proverbs that says wounds from a friend can be trusted. If we speak the truth in love, we are reflective of how God loves us, and he disciplines those whom he loves. It's not because we're bad people, it's because we're entangled. So figuratively and sometimes literally, we've married into our culture and we're so confused with how we are to live, to follow God. And we say, it's so hard. It's so hard to follow God. I'm not reading the Bible. I'm enmeshed into the culture, but I find it so hard to follow God. Well, I understand why.
