What If I Don't Like What The Bible Says?

The thing is, it's not uncommon for us to read something in the Bible and go, I don't like that. But when that thought comes, if I'm going to be a follower of Jesus, I have to stop and challenge my thought. What we're doing in our culture right now is go if I feel it, there must be truth to it. No, no. If I feel it, I have to pay attention to it. But that doesn't mean that there's truth to it. Because the moment that I read something go, I don't like that. I'm not going to follow it. You know what I've done? I am now leading Jesus, and I'm saying, Lord, my emotion tells me that what you've just given to me in your Scripture is not right. You not only have to know God's Word, but it has to be the priority.
